Hydro-dermabrasion
-
Microdermabrasion is a facial procedure that uses a combination of vacuum suction and physical exfoliation to remove the outer layer of the skin. This treatment can help to reduce appearance of acne scarring, fine lines, winkles, and sunspots.
-
Microdermabrasion works by using tipped wands that are made up of diamond chips which polish the skin and remove dead cells which are then vacuumed into the waste filter attached to the wand.
The removal of the stratum corneum results in prompting new skin and collagen growth. The vacuum will also increase circulation and blood flow to the area. Both collagen and elastin production is stimulated.
-
Hydrodermabrasion is a crystal-free alternative to Microdermabrasion. It is used on all skin types to repair aging, congested, blemished, dull, or discolored skin. Oily skin can benefit from this too by becoming less greasy as pores are less visible. Mild acne scars can also be reduced, and fine lines can be significantly minimized.
-
Hydrodermabrasion uses water jets which break up the outer layer of the skin to reveal a smoother, more even texture. First the skin is gently suctioned into the tip, making contact with the exfoliating serum and the abrasive tip that provides a deep exfoliation. This is perfect for people who have sensitive skin.
-
For both Micro & Hydro dermabrasions, a course of 8 treatments is recommended; performed every 7-10 days. People with acne or acne scarring may need more treatments. We recommend monthly maintenance treatments after the treatment course has been completed to help maintain the results achieved.

We will have you remove obstructions on the face. Your skin will be cleansed with gel/foam cleanser and then will be dried (for microdermabrasion). Your face will be steamed gently for the hydrodermabrasion. Your skin will be exfoliated using the device and your skin will be pat dry. We will follow with moisturizer and SPF and schedule your next appointment.
